Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an automation engineer on the Engineering Systems team to scale our build, test, signing, and deployment pipelines across Windows, Linux, and Mac. You will design and implement encryption, code signing frameworks, and CI/CD tooling, own on-call duties, and collaborate with global teams to deliver reliable, secure software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering or DevOps/build engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Deep knowledge of encryption/PKI concepts related to code signing.
• Experience writing Groovy for Jenkins pipeline development (Jenkinsfiles, shared libraries).

Responsibilities

• Manage code signing for binaries and artifacts across Windows, Linux, and Mac (Azure Artifact Signing, Mac/IOS Code Signing, Android Package Signing, Linux Package Signing).
• Manage certificate lifecycles: issuance, renewal, revocation, storage.
• Design, implement, and maintain encryption, certificate, and code signing frameworks and automation tooling.
• Identify opportunities to improve operation of existing systems.
• Own end-to-end improvements from design to delivered product for internal customers.
• Produce clear, maintainable code with minimal oversight.
• Provide documentation for tool users and perform code reviews.
• On-call build engineer duties: plan/pipeline changes, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot build, packaging, and deployment failures.
• Serve on on-call rotation; work effectively as a remote employee.
