Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Nashville, TN is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to oversee operations, maintenance, and performance of building systems. You will lead a team of maintenance professionals, develop preventative maintenance plans, and ensure safety compliance.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in engineering with at least 5 years of maintenance and supervisory experience, Universal CFC certification, and strong HVAC expertise, including electrical and plumbing

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of facility maintenance experience with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
Universal CFC Certification required.
Strong HVAC expertise with knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure all work is tracked in the CMMS.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of maintenance engineers and technicians to ensure high performance.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site SOPs across all facility operations.
Coordinate and respond to building emergencies, including on-call rotation and emergency response activities.
Manage vendor relationships and support facility projects and repairs.
Collaborate with facility management on budgeting, KPI performance, and client satisfaction.
