Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems at our Nashville site. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends/on-call as needed.

The candidate should have 3+ years of related experience, be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and hold or pursue Universal CFC EPA certification. MS Office and CMMS proficiency are required to manage tasks and service requests.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks including painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing and HVAC system work.
• Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and respond to tenant service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Support on-call or emergency response situations as needed.
• Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls.
