Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee on-site maintenance of Nashville facilities. You will supervise the engineering team, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work independently, and experience with CMMS and BAS. On-site availability and a Tennessee driver’s license are essential for this full-time

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent and technical training or degree.
• Universal EPA / CFC license.
• Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems).
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, CMMS, and internet-based software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot building systems to resolve malfunctions.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance tasks per SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead and mentor team members in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related areas.
• Monitor BAS alarms and ensure effective resolution; maintain safety records.
