Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Casting Technology Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support for Airfoils and Structural Castings, including supplier development and breakthrough casting technologies.

The role involves leading process-engineering activities for new products, mentoring suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet metrics. Expect travel 25–50% and onboarding in Cincinnati, with work hours largely in the Eastern Time Zone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Quality/manufacturing/casting experience)
• Minimum of 5 years casting experience
• This position requires U.S. citizenship status
• Ability to travel 25-50%

Responsibilities

• Own technical process and product for castings commodity
• Develop and industrialize new casting technologies
• Collaborate with Quality and Design engineers to meet metrics
• Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new product development
• Mentor suppliers in quality tools, requirements, and new technologies
• Partner with sourcing for supplier development and cost-out projects
• Design and implement manufacturing processes
• Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions
• Act as change agent toward world-class performance
• Communicate progress and challenges to leadership teams
