Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Casting Technology Manufacturing Engineer to lead castings process ownership, support supplier development, and drive breakthrough casting technologies. You will partner with cross-functional teams to meet metrics and cost targets, with travel 25-50% and onboarding in Cincinnati during ramp.

Responsibilities include mentoring suppliers, implementing process improvements, and coordinating with sourcing on Producibility and cost-out initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (or 4+ years in Quality/manufacturing/casting with HS diploma)
• Minimum of 5 years casting experience
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to travel 25-50%

Responsibilities

• Technical process and product ownership for castings commodity
• Develop and industrialize new casting technologies
• Collaborate with Quality and Design engineers to meet metrics
• Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new products
• Mentor suppliers in quality tools and new technologies
• Partner with sourcing for casting supplier development and cost-out projects
• Design and implement manufacturing processes
• Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions
• Act as change agent toward world-class performance
• Communicate progress and challenges to leadership teams
