GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Casting Technology Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical support for Airfoils and Structural Castings, drive supplier development, and advance casting technologies. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and travel for onboarding and ongoing training within the U.S.

and beyond. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in casting and a technical degree, with the ability to lead process improvements and partner with sourcing on critical cost-out

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (or HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience) is required.
• Minimum of 5 years casting experience.
• U.S. citizenship status required.
• Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Technical process and product ownership for castings commodity.
• Develop and industrialize new casting technologies.
• Collaborate with Quality and Design engineers to meet metrics.
• Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new products.
• Mentor suppliers in quality tools and new technologies.
• Partner with sourcing on casting supplier development and cost-out projects.
• Design and implement manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions.
