GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Casting Technology Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support for Airfoils and Structural Castings, including supplier development and breakthroughs in casting technology. You will align with sourcing on objectives such as supplier development, cost-out projects, and new casting technologies.

Roles include cross-functional collaboration with Quality and Design, mentoring suppliers, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or 4+ years in quality/manufacturing/casting) in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of casting experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Technical process and product ownership for castings commodity.
• Lead development and industrialization of new casting technologies.
• Collaborate with Quality and Design engineers to meet metrics.
• Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new products and technology.
• Mentor suppliers in quality tools and new technologies.
• Partner with sourcing for supplier development and cost-out projects.
• Design and implement manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous quality and cost improvements.
• Act as change agent for world-class performance.
