Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Casting Technology Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical aspects of investment structural castings across the value stream. You will manage supplier relationships, drive root-cause problem solving, and improve producibility while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

The role requires travel 30–50%, collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to qualify new suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years casting manufacturing experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in Casting Manufacturing
• Ability to travel 30-50%

Responsibilities

• Provide process and product technical leadership for Investment Structural Castings.
• Act as a change agent to advance world-class performance and standard work across the supply base.
• Own supplier technical relationships; mentor suppliers on GE Aerospace processes, specifications, and methods; ensure compliance and capability.
• Lead structured, cross-functional problem-solving efforts to identify true root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Improve manufacturability through design-for-casting and process capability improvements.
• Communicate progress, risks, and countermeasures to leadership and stakeholders.
• Review and approve significant processes, ensuring adherence to standards and qualification requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality and Design Engineering to meet metrics and align with strategy.
• Interpret drawings/specifications with suppliers and internal teams for conformance.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers; lead technical qualifications and readiness.
