Job summary

Rutter Mills LLP in Hampton, VA is seeking a dependable Senior Case Consultant- Investigator to join our Front End Department. This full-time, on-site role involves fieldwork, client communications, and case management to support our personal injury practice.

You will investigate motor vehicle accidents, collect evidence, and coordinate with attorneys and leadership. The position requires excellent communication, organization, and a willingness to travel locally, with a Monday–Friday schedule

Qualifications

Law enforcement experience preferred, esp. in investigations and case management.
Strong investigative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
Proficiency with technology and ability to learn case management software, Outlook and Zoom.

Responsibilities

Investigate motor vehicle accidents and gather evidence, including camera footage.
Communicate with clients by phone, text, email, and in-person meetings, including off-site visits.
Document investigation findings and maintain accurate case records in the firm’s system.
Collaborate with attorneys, leadership, and team members to share case updates.
Manage multiple investigations with flexibility in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
