Commonwealth Senior Living in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Registered Medication Associate (RMA) to provide high-quality, individualized care by assisting with medication administration and resident support. The RMA will model company core values and serve as a Culture Ambassador within the care team.

The role requires completing certification as a Resident Care Associate, ongoing CE credits, and the ability to work weekends with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Resident Care Associate.
• Continued education credits to maintain certification.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain per policy.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Compassionate approach to seniors and families.
• Proficient with basic office equipment and PC usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Adhere to policies and state regulatory standards when administering medications.
• Administer and record medication administration accurately as prescribed by physician.
• Present medications to residents and observe ingestion or other administration techniques.
• Observe and report adverse reactions or side effects; coordinate with the Resident Care Director.
• Document medication effectiveness and refusals in resident records.
• Store medications safely and maintain inventory records.
• Reorder resident medications from pharmacy when needed.
