The RMA will monitor medications, document updates, and collaborate with the Resident Care Director. Weekend and flexible hours are required, with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Must have certification as a Resident Care Associate.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Understand resident confidentiality.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Administer and accurately record the administration of medications for residents as prescribed.
• Present medication to residents and observe ingestion or completion of other application or administration techniques.
• Observe, record, and report adverse actions or side effects of medications and obtain input from the Resident Care Director.
• Document vital signs and medication updates, changes, concerns, and follow up.
• Maintain safe handling of controlled substances and report discrepancies to the Resident Care Director.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and supplies for resident safety.
