Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Cook for a Nursing Facility at Mount Holly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. The role emphasizes preparation of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a high-volume setting, with attention to presentation and sanitation.

The cook will support the Dietary Manager in their absence, manage kitchen inventory, and assist with recipe development and special events.

Qualifications

Classically trained cook with high-volume culinary experience.
Ability to follow standardized recipes and ensure food safety.

Responsibilities

Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
Plating & Presentation: plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
Leadership Support: act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
Kitchen Sanitation: maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and culinary equipment.
Inventory & Recipe Management: manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
Special Events: flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
