Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks a skilled Dietary Cook to join the team at Hopewell Post Acute and Healthcare Center. You will prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a high-volume nursing facility, following standardized recipes and presentation standards.

You will also plate dishes attractively, maintain kitchen sanitation, assist with inventory and purchasing, and support the Dietary Manager during absences.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume operations.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Strong sanitation and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to recipes.
• Plate and garnish items for attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager in their absence to maintain meal prep.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation before and after service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with purchasing.
• Assist with recipe development and compliance.
• Handle last-minute requests for special events.
