Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Oakland, NJ seeks a Dietary Cook for a Skilled Nursing Facility to prepare, plate, and deliver nutritious meals in a high-volume kitchen. You will support the Dietary Manager, ensure clean and sanitary operations, and help manage inventory and recipe development.

The role requires availability to work every other weekend; certifications affect pay. PTO and health insurance are offered for full-time staff in a care-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to plan meals and present dishes attractively.
• Willingness to cover weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish all items to ensure attractive presentation.
• Assist Dietary Manager during absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards and clean equipment before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development.
