Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and collaborative leadership.
• Familiarity with federal government acquisition types, processes, and tools.
• Skills in opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer and industry collaboration, and team leadership.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the execution of the business area’s overall capture strategy on approved pursuit efforts.
• Orchestrating bid strategy.
• Providing oversight of the development of proposal volumes.
• Conducting market and competition analysis.
• Creating, leading, and supporting capture and proposal teams.
• The selected candidate should have experience successfully executing corporate business development and capture management processes.
• Working closely with leadership, account executives, line/market teams, and corporate and external resources; managing bid and proposal funding.
• Coordinate with business development and marketing to transition opportunities into active capture.
• Assembling and managing the capture team to bid and win contracts.
• Communicate with clients and partners, showcasing capabilities and building differentiated teams.
• Lead generations of sections, volumes, proposals, and/or captures.
• Develop solutions and perform analyses to address complex challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to generate and validate solution designs and approaches.
• Participate in gate reviews, win themes, and proposal reviews; report status and resource needs to leadership.
• Oversee the proposal phase to deliver to the client.
• Contribute feedback and ideas for continuous improvement.
