Job summary

Leidos in Reston, VA is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to lead the full BD life-cycle for 2–3 large $100M+ pursuits across Military Services. You will craft win strategies, manage capture plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to shape opportunities from pursuit to proposal submission.

The role requires a proven track record in enterprise IT capture for DoD, strong leadership, and effective executive communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 13+ years.
Proven capture management experience in the enterprise IT market with DoD customers.
Track record of leading and winning contracts and managing pipelines.
Experience leading teams in a virtual environment.
Strong technical writing and proposal development abilities.
Excellent verbal communication and executive briefing skills.
Willingness to travel to U.S. cities, up to 50% annually.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop a plan to understand customer requirements and lead core-team planning sessions.
Coordinate meetings with customers and teammates to gain market insight and strategy.
Plan and participate in capture activities: gates, workshops, and reviews.
Lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts.
Support white papers, RFIs, and other proposal artifacts as assigned.
Apply Leidos capture planning processes and report status to leadership.
Mentor other program managers in capture management.
Conduct after-action reviews to improve capture techniques.
