Job summary

Hylant is seeking an Account Executive to lead a team of captive account managers and act as a strategic advisor to captive clients. You will drive talent development, governance, and performance while overseeing client relationships and service delivery.

In this senior role, you will lead board-level discussions, manage complex engagements, and collaborate with auditors, regulators, and legal counsel to support client objectives. Travel and leadership of cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
Seven or more years of captive insurance, auditing, risk management, or captive management experience.
CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI, or other professional designations preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
Strong understanding of captive insurance operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead, engage, and manage a team of account managers across talent functions (recruiting, onboarding, training, development, performance).
Serve as executive relationship manager and trusted advisor for captive clients.
Present financial and operational results to client boards and stakeholders.
Oversee complex client engagements and resolve escalated issues.
Drive process improvements to ensure service and regulatory deadlines are met.
Provide executive oversight of financial reporting, regulatory filings, and risk management.
Collaborate with auditors, actuaries, legal counsel, regulators, and service providers.
Support client retention, expansion, and business development activities.
