Job summary

Dow Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to identify and convert new business opportunities in ICT and Wire & Cable within Packing & Specialty Plastics.

You will partner with Marketing, TS&D, Product Management and Commercial teams to create demand, develop value propositions, and accelerate growth across targeted markets. Travel up to 50%; preferred location is Houston, with option for Midland, MI or remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military equivalent; U.S. military service at or above E5 or Canadian equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, qualification, and development of new customer and application opportunities aligned with growth priorities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, projects, and market opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing to identify trends and unmet customer needs.
• Collaborate with TS&D, Product Management, and Commercial teams to accelerate commercialization.
• Develop market penetration strategies to establish Dow products in new applications and accounts.
• Engage decision-makers to build relationships and uncover new opportunities.
• Forecast, pipeline management, and business planning for growth initiatives.
