The Virginia Department of Taxation (Virginia Tax) is seeking two Senior Business Analysts to assist their Tax Processing section. You would become part of a dedicated team that provides analytical support to enhance the Agency’s tax return processing and payment systems. As a member of this team, you will support systems that are the foundation of Virginia Tax’s core operations. Team members support online services applications as well as the data capture of paper returns and payments. They are responsible for the processing of over 14 million tax returns and 8 million payments which, help ensure refunds are issued timely and critical Government operations, such as education, public safety, and programs for those in need, received the necessary funding.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will help ensure our systems are operating as designed, are efficient, and are meeting the taxpayer’s needs and expectations.
The hiring range is $70,000 - $76,000 based on experience and skill level
This position is located in Richmond, VA at our Westmoreland Street location.
This position may be eligible to telework up to 2 days a week after 6 months.

Advanced experience or knowledge in the area of business analysis, process management, business management or related fields
All Virginia Tax employees must be current with filing their tax returns ensuring they were filed in compliance with established laws, rules and regulations.
