Job summary

The Virginia Tax Department is seeking two Senior Business Analysts to support its Tax Processing section, joining a dedicated team that enhances tax return processing and payment systems, supporting millions of returns and payments to fund education, public safety, and vital programs.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will ensure systems operate as designed, develop complex requirements, analyze processes, and maintain documentation, with potential telework up to 2 days per week after six

Qualifications

• Considerable experience working in a time-sensitive work environment supporting public-facing online programs.
• Considerable experience providing business and functional support to online electronic commerce systems.
• Strong ability to analyze and develop a detailed understanding of a complex online application system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing business requirements for online programs that support public users.
• Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing.
