Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead liaison between agency divisions, Computer Services, vendors, and other stakeholders for assigned technology initiatives.

What you will do:

• Experience serving as a senior or lead Business Systems Analyst in government, regulatory services, public safety, grants management, licensing, credentialing, or a similarly complex environment.
• Experience leading business analysis efforts for enterprise, cross divisional, application modernization, or vendor managed initiatives.
• Proficiency with SQL and/or Power BI.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Planview, Visio, or comparable requirements, project-management, and process modeling tools.
• Experience performing data analysis, data mapping, reporting requirements, system integrations, data conversion, or migration.
• Demonstrated experience supporting technology procurements, vendor evaluations, statements of work, contract deliverables, or solution acceptance.
• Knowledge of information security, privacy accessibility, records management, and Virginia state government technology requirements.
• Relevant certification or training such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or a VITA project management qualification.

The candidate selected for the position must successfully complete a criminal background investigation. The starting salary range is $95,000 to $105,000 plus the state’s benefits package.
