Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. The role requires hands-on management of heating equipment, chillers, pumps, VAVs, and air distribution to provide comfortable environments and safe conditions.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to emergencies, document activities, and comply with safety standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing in commercial property.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s)
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, and air distribution systems
• Monitor energy management and perform preventive maintenance per standards
