Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the assigned property. You will perform rounds, routine maintenance, and repairs to keep the building comfortable and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment, plus the ability to respond to emergencies and follow company protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in commercial properties.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade as required (Journeyman/Master Electrician or related).
• Experience with energy management systems and building automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, thermostats and related controls.
