Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related trade experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• HVAC knowledge and ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems; reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Licenses or certifications may be required (e.g., Journeyman/Master Electrician, EPA Section 608).
• Proficiency with Outlook, Windows File Explorer, and cloud storage; ability to work independently during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of MEP systems in buildings.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and monitor activities and projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance: filters, belts, bearings, lamps, and other inspections per equipment manufacturers.
• Coordinate with contractors and tenants; manage inventory and respond to emergencies.
• Prepare monthly reports for management; ensure compliance with codes and safety procedures.
