Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate, maintain, and monitor building mechanical systems at our South San Francisco, CA site. The role covers boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and building automation to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations for tenants and occupants.

The candidate will read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance with emphasis on energy efficiency and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining commercial building mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building automation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to work in mechanical rooms, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and repair of boilers, heaters, pumps, valves, and lines for steam and heated water.
• Operation, maintenance and repair of refrigerant systems and air handling equipment.
• Maintain pumps and piping for brines and other secondary refrigerants.
• Maintain electrical motors, controls, and VFDs; troubleshoot faults.
