Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a skilled Engineer to manage and maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing and life-safety systems across client facilities in Mountain View, CA. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, supervising technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety directives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Local 39 Apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum of five years' experience in building operations/maintenance.
• Electrical, HVAC or professional engineering license a plus.
• Strong communication and time-management skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and instruction across mechanical, electrical, control and life-safety systems.
• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC tasks required in client buildings.
• Inspect systems to ensure operation meets design specs and safety standards.
• Monitor energy management and BMS onsite; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Read blueprints and specifications to operate and maintain site equipment.
• Perform PMs; close tasks in CMMS system.
• Assist team members and vendors with major repairs and installations.
• Respond to emergencies on site as directed by the Chief Engineer.
