Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment across building interiors and exteriors.

The role requires monitoring system performance and applying specialized knowledge at the client site. You will ensure compliance with codes and safety directives, oversee contractor work, manage energy use for cost efficiency, and respond to emergencies using work order systems

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Operates, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment, including mechanical/HVAC/plumbing, electrical/cabling, fire detection and life safety systems.
• Maintains the professional appearance of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.
• Maintains building lighting systems and performs repairs or replacements.
• Prepares estimates for time and materials; orders necessary supplies and materials.
• Maintains an energy management program to minimize operating costs.
• Oversees and inspects work by outside contractors (landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, cleaning).
• Performs specialized tasks (carpentry, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, welding, locksmith) and inspects building systems.
• Uses work order systems and communications tools; responds to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
