CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling and safety controls.

The role supports preventive maintenance programs, ensures compliance with codes, and contributes to energy efficiency. Prior supervisory experience is a plus; strong knowledge of Office tools and safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Must meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills for percentages and financial calculations.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety and control systems; ensure building systems meet standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives for operations.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with implementing preventive maintenance to extend equipment life; perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials; keep workspace safe and clean.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation within design specs.
• Share knowledge and coach others; lead by example and build consensus within CBRE.
