Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling. You will support hard services and preventive maintenance to ensure operations meet safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities include executing corrective and preventive maintenance, complying with codes, and safeguarding energy usage while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years related experience required or combination with education.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ensure building systems meet applicable standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain energy management program and optimize efficiency.
• Assist preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials handling and disposal.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
• Lead by example and coach others in the workplace.
