Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Lead Building Engineer to manage complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems across interior and exterior spaces. The role involves monitoring operations, ensuring safety, and directing contractor work to meet high standards of reliability.

Applicants should have eight or more years of relevant experience, universal CFC certification, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in electrical systems, refrigeration and/or HVAC.
• Universal CFC certification required; additional certifications as listed may be required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with codes, regulations and safety directives for building operations.
• Operates and maintains mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Monitors building systems and performance; oversees outside contractors.
• Maintains lighting, energy management programs, and essential systems.
• Performs complex tasks in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and related areas.
• Uses work order systems and responds to emergencies and customer concerns.
