Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems across building interiors and exteriors.

The role requires monitoring system performance, responding to emergencies, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, maintaining lighting and energy efficiency, preparing estimates, and following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Operates, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment, including mechanical/HVAC/plumbing systems, electrical/cabling, fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems.
• Maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.
• Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
• Prepares estimates detailing the amount of time and materials needed for completing tasks; orders necessary materials to complete tasks.
• Maintains an energy management program to operate all systems efficiently and minimize operating costs.
• Oversees and inspects work by outside contractors (landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning).
• Follows standard operating procedures/maintenance work instructions and performs specialized tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Keeps property and engineering spaces clean and professional in appearance.
• Maintains lighting system and performs repairs/replacements as needed.
• Prepares task estimates and manages materials and supplies.
• Maintains energy management to minimize operating costs.
• Oversees outside contractors and ensures quality of work.
• Performs tasks per SOPs and maintenance work instructions.
• Executes specialized tasks (carpentry, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, welding, furniture assembly/relocation, locksmith).
• Utilizes work order systems and responds to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
