Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building system operations across plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and related areas.

The role covers preventive maintenance, energy management, safety compliance, and instructional leadership within facilities management. The candidate will work within CBRE’s Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting preventive maintenance programs and complex repairs to ensure reliable building performance for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. Universal CFC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to meet or exceed rated life; perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials; keep work area clean and safe.
