Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Building Engineer to perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and life-safety systems across facilities.

The role is 1st shift, Mon–Fri, 6am–2:30pm, working with building management and contractors to ensure reliable operations. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 8+ years of relevant experience, Universal CFC certification, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years in electrical/refrigeration/HVAC.
• Universal CFC certification required; additional related certifications encouraged.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local/state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complies with codes and safety directives.
• Operates, maintains, and optimizes building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety.
• Prepares estimates for time and materials; orders supplies as needed.
• Oversees outside contractors and ensures quality of work.
• Maintains energy management programs to minimize operating costs.
• Inspects building systems such as fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
