Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Building Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems across building interiors and exteriors. The role requires monitoring operations, ensuring safety, and coordinating with contractors.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in building systems, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and budgets while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years of related experience in electrical, refrigeration and/or HVAC.
• Waste water license required or must be obtained after hire.
• Universal CFC certification is required; additional certifications in related trades are a plus.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operates, maintains, monitors, and performs maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety.
• Prepares estimates for time and materials required and orders needed supplies.
• Maintains energy management programs to minimize operating costs.
• Oversees work by outside contractors and ensures quality and safety.
