Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Lead Building Engineer to perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across building interiors and exteriors. You will monitor system operations, maintain safety standards, and oversee contractor work as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with extensive experience in electrical and HVAC fields, Universal CFC certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with eight or more years of electrical, refrigeration and/or HVAC experience.
• Universal CFC certification required; additional certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and related systems may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Monitor building system operations and performance; supervise and coordinate with outside contractors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and company safety directives.
