Responsibilities

• Complies with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Operates, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems.
• Maintains professional appearance of property and engineering spaces.
• Maintains building lighting systems and replaces elements/ballasts.
• Prepares estimates for time and materials for tasks.
• Keeps supplies and tools stocked and orders materials as needed.
• Manages energy use to minimize operating costs.
• Oversees work by outside contractors for landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
• Performs tasks such as carpentry, electrical, painting, roofing, welding as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and customer concerns.
