Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Welcome, NC seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team, ensuring 100% uptime and optimal building performance. You will oversee HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and electrical systems, and act as the client advocate in safety and regulatory matters.

You will manage staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic commercial real estate environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in building operations and maintenance with HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and mech/electrical systems.
• 3+ years supervisory experience managing engineering/maintenance teams.
• Experience with commercial building systems, CFWA processes.
• Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance and BAS/controls.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety programs.
• Excellent communication and relationship management with clients and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Supervise engineering and maintenance staff through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Ensure CFWA compliance and manage contractor activities and vendor relationships.
• Lead safety programs, identify hazards, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, inventory, and client communications.
