Job summary

You will partner with the Chief Engineer to manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems while mentoring staff in a fast‑paced environment.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on delivering exceptional occupant experiences across a diverse property

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Engineering or Facilities preferred.
• 5–7 years in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/safety, and controls.
• Valid stationary engineer license or trade certifications as required.
• Experience leading staff, managing contractors, and multi-priority work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in daily operations of building systems to ensure peak performance.
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors for timely work orders and PMs.
• Monitor building automation systems to optimize energy use and performance.
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and schedule proactive maintenance.
• Support sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies with technical expertise while protecting occupants.
• Maintain records in CMMS and other documentation systems.
• Collaborate with management, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver quality services.
• Participate in training to stay current with industry best practices.
