CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer in Sterling, VA to perform complex preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, systems, and equipment. You will monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing and alarms, and supervise contractor work to ensure compliance with safety and design specs.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED or trade school diploma with 4 years of related experience, and Universal CFC preferred. Certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and related areas is a plus.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair as required by local jurisdictions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complex preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, systems, and equipment.
• Inspect and monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing and alarms to meet design specs.
• Oversee work by outside contractors and arrange materials for tasks.
• Maintain energy management to minimize operating costs.
• Maintain lighting systems and perform related repairs.
• Respond to emergencies and document maintenance records.
• Estimate time and materials and manage purchasing for tasks.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company directives.
