Job summary

The role combines deep structural engineering mastery with strategic leadership, staff development, and cross‑functional coordination across HDR’s global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and PE/License required.
• Minimum of 10 years of bridge design experience.
• Proven leadership on major bridge projects and complex scope.
• Experience with design-build or P3 delivery is preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, directing, and monitoring large, multi-disciplinary bridge projects.
• Provide technical oversight and cross-team coordination.
• Deliver design leadership for bridge design and production.
• Perform complex structural analysis for long-span projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise staff across locations.
• Support marketing and strategic pursuits for major bridges.
• Oversee QA/QC procedures and project documentation.
• Drive staff development and adoption of new technologies.
• Represent HDR in industry conferences and committees.
