Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Bridge Technical Director to lead the major bridges program within the Transportation Business Group. You will champion technical leadership, guide design teams, and oversee multi-disciplinary projects through planning, analysis, and construction phases.

You will mentor engineers, drive strategic marketing efforts for major pursuits, and ensure QA/QC compliance with HDR standards across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural engineering; PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of bridge design and project leadership.
• Experience with long-span bridge projects and design-build delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for major bridge projects.
• Direct planning, coordination, and delivery across teams.
• Oversee design and production for long-span bridges.
• Mentor junior engineers and build collaborative teams.
• Support business development and major bridge pursuits.
