Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Construction Inspector to lead site inspections for roadway and bridge projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.

This role includes mentoring junior staff, generating detailed reports, and acting as SME for complex construction activities. Responsibilities feature daily site visits, oversight of materials testing, coordination with IQF, and ensuring data integrity for QA libraries.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent with relevant inspection experience.
• Experience in transportation construction inspection, including heavy civil, bridge and roadway projects.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and reports.
• Strong commitment to safety in construction environments.
• Valid US Driver's License with ability to pass MVR check.

Aufgaben

• Identify and document deficiencies in roadway and bridge construction, communicating adjustments for contract compliance.
• Conduct daily site visits to monitor work-in-progress and ensure material/workmanship meet specifications.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members and review their work for QA.
• Perform specialized inspections and written reports for bridge construction and OV activities.
• Supervise junior technicians performing OV audits and inspections.
• Serve as SME on Developer activities, including remediation and repair reviews.
• Monitor on-site activities and inspect materials per plans, specs, and project provisions.
• Oversee sampling/testing and CQAP compliance for materials and work.
• Attend pre-activity meetings and coordinate with IQF to resolve issues.
• Ensure QA materials data is entered into the Materials database on time.
• Verify material certification for Final Acceptance and perform contract admin duties.
