Accura Engineering is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection on roadway, bridge, and transportation projects. You will conduct field inspections, verify materials and workmanship, maintain documentation, and support project engineers throughout construction.

The role requires inspecting roadways, bridges, and heavy civil work, reading plans and specs, and maintaining compliance with contract provisions and standards.

Qualificações

• 18 months to 3 years progressive inspection experience in transportation or heavy civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs and contracts.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials, methods, equipment, and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive per state law.
• Ability to obtain GDOT certifications and complete required tests on time.

Responsabilidades

• Perform independent inspections of roadways and bridge construction to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
• Inspect asphalt, concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, alignment, and quality.
• Inspect foundations, excavation, piling, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, culverts, and backfill.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate project records.
