WSP is seeking a Structural Engineer - Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New Jersey. This role leads a team while performing professional structural engineering work and inspections on a variety of bridge projects.

The position combines field and office duties across Newark, Lawrenceville, Morristown and other NJ offices. You will mentor junior engineers, assist with load ratings, and contribute to plans using MicroStation, Visio, and AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• NCBI certification through FHWA approved training.
• 3+ years in bridge/tunnel/ancillary inspection or related work.
• NHI Course 130055 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges certification.
• New Jersey PE license or ability to obtain promptly.
• Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on multiple projects.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
• Assist in the preparation of Bridge & Tunnel Load Ratings.
• Develop plans/sketches using MicroStation, Visio, AutoCAD.
• Guide and train entry-level engineers.
• Support project documentation and cost proposals.
