WSP USA is seeking an Assistant Team Leader for Bridge Inspections in New Jersey to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team. Open to any WSP office location in New Jersey such as Lawrenceville-NJ, Newark-NJ, Morristown-NJ, etc.

Ideal for someone new to bridge inspection who wants to grow into a Bridge Inspection Team Leader role. The team collaborates on projects that shape communities while providing opportunities to develop technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Engineer-in-Training or ability to obtain within one year.
• Proficient understanding of structural engineering principles and their applications.
• Interest in structures/transportation and related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to bridge and infrastructure inspection projects.
• Serve as Assistant Team Leader for bridge and sign structure inspections.
• Perform structural engineering tasks and field inspections.
• Support preparation of bridge load ratings.
• Develop plans and sketches using Visio and MicroStation.
• Collaborate with engineers on multiple projects.
• Assist with project research, calculations, and analysis.
• Help prepare cost proposals and scopes of work.
• Maintain project documentation and training.
