Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering required.
• NCBI certification through FHWA training course required.
• 3+ years in bridge/tunnel/inspections or related work.
• NJ PE license or ability to obtain promptly.
• Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles and application.
• Strong desire to advance skills in WSP’s projects.
• Physically capable of extensive field work and adverse conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and DMV check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team projects.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
• Prepare Bridge & Tunnel Load Ratings.
• Develop plans/sketches using MicroStation, Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Guide and train entry-level engineers.
• Support project documentation and cost proposals.
• Stay current with structural engineering techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team.
• Travel as required.
