Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of bridge/structure inspection experience.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles for project issues.
• Interest in structures/transportation with growth in WSP projects.
• Physical ability for field work including heights, confined spaces, and weather.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to bridge and infrastructure inspection projects.
• Assist as a Bridge Inspection Team Leader for inspections.
• Perform structural engineering tasks and field inspections.
• Support preparation of bridge load ratings.
• Develop plans using Visio and MicroStation.
• Collaborate with engineers on multiple projects.
• Support research, preliminary repair calculations, and analysis.
• Help prepare cost proposals and scope-of-work documents.
• Organize and maintain project documentation.
• Complete training for assignment tasks.
• Stay current on structural engineering practices.
• Follow WSP Code of Conduct and safety policies.
