Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Assistant Team Leader for Bridge Inspections in New Jersey. You will join the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team across multiple New Jersey offices, including Lawrenceville-NJ, Newark-NJ, Morristown-NJ.

This role is ideal for someone new to bridge inspection who wants to grow into a Team Leader role, with opportunities to perform field and office duties, use Visio and MicroStation, and contribute to load ratings and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of experience with bridge/ancillary structure inspection projects.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Proficient understanding of structural engineering principles and their application to projects.
• Interest in structures and transportation with a drive to develop skills at WSP.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to bridge and infrastructure inspection projects.
• Serve as an Assistant Team Leader for bridge and sign structure inspections.
• Perform structural engineering tasks and field inspections.
• Support preparation of bridge load ratings and cost proposals.
