Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, Senior Structural Engineer to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in Pennsylvania, with offices in Philadelphia, Exton, Ephrata, and Mechanicsburg. The role involves leading inspection projects, hands-on structural engineering, and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate holds a structural/civil degree, current NCBI and CBSI certifications, 5–10 years in related work, and PE preferred. Travel and field work are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering required.
NCBI certification in bridge inspection must be current.
CBSI certification through PennDOT must be current.
5–10 years in bridge, tunnel, or related inspection or design work.
PE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on various inspection projects.
Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
Assist in preparing Bridge & Tunnel Load Ratings.
Develop plans/sketches using AutoCAD.
Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery.
Support cost proposals and scopes of work.
